Women in Leadership – Open for Applications
CWTH is excited to launch My Voice: Seen, Heard, Leading – a dynamic leadership development programme for women in leadership roles across General Practice in Coventry & Warwickshire.
This programme provides a high-impact space for women leaders to step away from day-to-day operational demands, reflect on their leadership, and develop the confidence, visibility, and influence needed to lead effectively in today’s healthcare environment.
Grounded in real-world leadership challenges, the programme combines practical tools, experiential learning, and facilitated coaching conversations that participants can immediately apply in their professional roles.
Designed for well-established women leaders, this interactive programme will help you:
- Build your confidence
- Strengthen your leadership presence and influence
- Develop practical leadership skills
- Connect with a supportive network of like-minded women

CPD Funding Announced
We are pleased to confirm the 2026/27 NHS England CPD allocation for eligible nursing associates, nurses, midwives and allied health professionals.
Each eligible member of staff has an individual CPD allocation of £235 for 2026/27. This allocation has been calculated using NHS Digital workforce headcount data for January 2026 – please note, this is less funding than in previous years. This funding is solely for staff eligible for CPD and cannot be pooled, transferred or used for backfill or statutory and mandatory training.

New to General Practice? Come and join us for a relaxed Walk & Talk!
Starting your GP career can be exciting, rewarding and sometimes a little daunting.
Join us for a friendly walk where you can meet other First 5 GPs, share experiences, ask questions and chat informally with colleagues in a supportive environment.

Con-GRAD-ulations!
We would like to say Con-GRAD-ulations to Alice, Edyta, Karolina, Elaura and Jessica on graduating from their Nursing Associate Apprenticeship course at Coventry University. Thank you to all staff who supported the apprentices throughout their journey to becoming Registered Nursing Associates, with all five remaining in General Practice.
