CPD Funding Announced

We are pleased to confirm the 2026/27 NHS England CPD allocation for eligible nursing associates, nurses, midwives and allied health professionals.

Each eligible member of staff has an individual CPD allocation of £235 for 2026/27. This allocation has been calculated using NHS Digital workforce headcount data for January 2026 – please note, this is less funding than in previous years. This funding is solely for staff eligible for CPD and cannot be pooled, transferred or used for backfill or statutory and mandatory training.
