This face-to-face event supports pharmacists to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to undertake clinical assessments and develop their clinical examination skills to provide the NHS Pharmacy First service. It includes practical training on ear, nose and throat (ENT) examination supported by a medic and clinical demonstrator. Booking is open to pharmacists and foundation trainee pharmacists.
The aim of this learning programme is to support pharmacists to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to undertake effective consultations, communications and clinical assessments in order to provide the NHS Pharmacy First service.
You will need to bring along your own otoscope to use during the workshop – this is important to ensure that you have adequate time available to practise examination skills.
