Gold Award Winner - Aneurin Bevan University Health Board
We are pleased to welcome Liz Jenkins, a clinical pharmacist who is part of a team that has implemented a cardio-renal optimisation service to GP practices across their locality. The service focuses on increasing the prescribing of Sodium-Glucose Co-Transporter inhibitors (SGLT2i’s) in patients with T2DM in order to improve the health outcomes for their patients. This project won the Addressing Health Inequalities category in our 2025 Awards, as well as being voted the Gold Award winner at our Annual Event.
