Chapel End Surgery is a friendly, forward-thinking, patient-focused practice serving a
growing patient population of approximately 5,100 patients.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Salaried ANP to join our supportive clinical team. Our present clinical team includes 2 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 1 HCA, Clinical Pharmacist, Remote Pharmacy Technician, and 2 FCPs. We presently have no nursing home patients and have a low home visit rate.

Job summary

The Role
1 session = 3 hours 30 minutes


180 minutes – 13 patient contacts @ 15-minute appointments


15 minutes – catchup slot


You may be required to carry out home visits or to do a share of the workflow including
tasks via administrative staff, letters through Docman, reviewing results (labs/radiology) or signing scripts.


Duties include face to face, telephone and triage, consultations, arranging investigations
and reviewing results, chronic disease management, prescribing, safeguarding, baby
checks, MDT working and clinical administration. A good understanding of QOF
required.

Start Date: To be agreed – happy to wait for the right candidate.

Qualifications

Person Specification

Essential: Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner license including Independent Prescribing.

  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to quality care.
  • Supportive of colleagues.
  • Clear record keeping, contributing to audit, governance and staying up to date.

Desirable:

  • Experience in primary care or GP setting. Friendly and flexible.
  • Special interests, Emis experience.
  • Experience in managing long-term conditions.
