This is a 2 part course on 24th and 26th January. Please make sure you are available to attend both sessions.
This thorough and informative session has been designed to help delegates understand the various elements of medical terminology. The aim is to increase learners’ vocabulary and their understanding of medical terminology, as well as increasing their confidence in its usage.
Objectives
- Understand the basics of medical terminology, including word building
- Gain an overview of anatomy and physiology through an interactive tour of the body
- Learn the commonly used drug prescribing abbreviations
- Understand and learn medical abbreviations
- Discover the terminology associated with hospital specialities and procedures.
