This module will:
- Describe what anticoagulation means, why it is used & why INR testing is needed
- Discuss how medications & diet can affect the INR result
- Describe in-house patient testing
- Identify INR readings that require urgent intervention
Please note: This training does cover most of the INR information at practice level about why we need to do it, what are the influencers etc, but cannot cover in detail the INR Star training as that is a copyrighted system which we are unable to access for any publication here. The INR Star training does still need to be accessed independently. The link to the INR Star training is in the course.
