This is a 2 day course on 14th and 21st November. Please make sure you are available to attend both days.

Day one focuses on Mental Health, delving into key concepts, assessment techniques, and interventions to support patients facing mental health challenges. From understanding common disorders to implementing effective strategies for patient care, this day promises to equip General Practice clinicians with the knowledge and confidence needed to address mental health concerns in their practice.

Day two shifts the spotlight to Learning Disabilities, offering an immersive exploration into this often-overlooked area of healthcare. Participants will gain valuable insights into the unique needs of patients with learning disabilities, along with practical approaches to providing holistic care and support. Additionally, an introduction to performing annual reviews for both mental health and learning disability patients will be provided, ensuring clinicians are well-prepared to meet the ongoing healthcare needs of these individuals.
