Learning Outcomes:
- To help raise awareness of developments in and up to date information about contraception with increased knowledge on QOF points
- Knowledge of all methods of contraception with specific development in skills of delivering emergency contraception
- Enable discussion of all methods with patients
- To help general contraceptive consultations and history taking
- Specific development in skills of delivering the repeat prescription scenario*
- Feel confident in giving regular depo-provera injections and giving appropriate advice*
- Understand the importance of a good referral pathway for all methods
- Allows discussion of relevant practice problems and their solutions
