Need to conduct an evidence search to support clinical practice? Or have you recently started a new course and need evidence for your next written assignment?
This session is perfect for the literature searching beginner, and a great refresher for those who’ve not searched the evidence-base for a while. We’ll help you to:
- Devise a good quality, searchable research question
- Know where to search for the evidence you need
- Plan a robust search strategy using PICO and suggest alternative search frameworks
- Include useful search techniques to improve your search strategies
This session is paired with our Literature searching in healthcare databases session, which covers the practical skills involved in using tools like Ovid to conduct a literature search.
