About us
Chapel End Surgery is a friendly, forward-thinking, patient-focused practice serving a
growing patient population of approximately 5,100 patients. We are seeking an enthusiastic salaried GP to join our supportive clinical team. Our present clinical team includes 2 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 1 HCA, Clinical Pharmacist, Remote Pharmacy Technician, and 2
FCPs. We presently have no nursing home patients and a low home visit rate.
Job summary
The Role
1 session = 4 hours 10 minutes
150 minutes – 15 patient contacts @ 10-minute appointments
100 minutes – for visits or a share of the workflow including tasks via administrative staff,
letter through Docman, reviewing results (labs/radiology) or signing scripts.
Duties include triage, consultations, arranging investigations and reviewing results, chronic
disease management, prescribing, safeguarding, baby checks, MDT working and clinical
administration. Ability to teach others and a good understanding of QOF required.GP support needed as we work too hard and the support would be nice.
Start Date: To be agreed – happy to wait for the right candidate.
Qualifications
Person Specification
Essential: GMC licence, GP Register, MRCGP or equivalent,
Excellent communication skills and commitment to quality care. Supportive of colleagues.
Clear record keeping, contributing to audit, governance and staying up to date.
Desirable: Friendly and flexible. Teaching experience, special interests, Emis experience
