Our guest speaker, Sarah Weir-Smith, is a Registered Nurse and former Midwife with over 30 years of experience. She has spent the past 18 years working as an Advanced Practitioner across general practice, out-of-hours, and urgent care settings. This experience has shaped her strong focus on compassionate leadership and supporting both nursing and wider healthcare teams.
Sarah now works in a Clinical Leadership and Management role within Warwickshire North PCN, drawing on her background in governance and clinical leadership at federation level. She brings valuable insight into the challenges facing the nursing workforce, the pathways available for developing leadership, and the opportunities to strengthen support across primary care.
