An hour-long session working through two cases studies within cardiovascular disease, relating to secondary prevention and heart failure. The session is aimed to provide a practical walkthrough of national guidance for primary care teams, as well as discussing some common challenges.

- Management of heart failure
Intended audience
This event is open to all healthcare professions in primary care and other sectors who are involved in cardiovascular disease risk assessment and management, which includes GPs, practice managers, nurses (community, practice-based), health care assistants, pharmacists (community, ICB, practice-based), social prescribers, health and wellbeing coaches, paramedics, physician associates etc.

This event is funded, through the Training Hub, by public money. Non-attendance therefore comes at a cost to patients, the NHS, and the public.
