Learning Outcomes:

  • Demonstrate a critical understanding of key discussion points with patients
  • To be confident on sizing and fitting ring pessaries
  • Allows discussion of relevant practice problems and their solutions
  • Develop an awareness of how attitudes and values may affect practice
  • Raise awareness of ongoing development of practice and professional accountability within the speciality of Urogynaecology.
  • To understand NICE Guidance around female urinary incontinence and management of prolapse.

Conservative and Surgical Management of Uterovaginal Prolapse theory (1.5 hours)

A practical demonstration session on ring pessary assessment and fitting on a model (1.5 hours)
